Ready to Get Started? Let’s Dance!

Come be part of something special. Whether you’re dusting off your boots or just learning your first “pryvit” step, we’re here to help you move, grow, and connect.

Let’s keep the rhythm of Ukrainian culture alive — together.

What is Ukrainian Dance?

Ukrainian dance is a vibrant, energetic folk tradition passed down through generations. Each region of Ukraine has its own style, costumes, and signature steps. From high-knee jumps to elegant spins, these dances reflect the soul and spirit of the Ukrainian people.

At Fort Saskatchewan Ukrainian Dance, we teach a variety of regional styles — including Hopak, Hutzul, and Bukovynian — giving dancers a well-rounded experience that’s both fun and educational.

Ukrainian Dance & Community

One of the most beautiful aspects of Ukrainian dance is its connection to community. It’s often performed during holidays, weddings, and festivals — always bringing people together. Our local group carries that same spirit: every dancer is valued, every parent is welcomed, and every rehearsal feels like a reunion.

In a world of screens and distractions, Ukrainian dance brings families together for something real. You’ll see kids forming lifelong friendships, teens building confidence, and adults rediscovering their joy.

Cultural Pride You Can Feel

As Ukrainian culture faces challenges around the world, it’s never been more important to celebrate and preserve these traditions. Whether you're Ukrainian by heritage or simply drawn to its richness, joining our dance group is a meaningful way to engage with culture, community, and creativity.

We proudly participate in community events and support local Ukrainian cultural initiatives. When you dance with us, you're helping keep a vibrant legacy alive.
